DAVID HERED - CAPTAIN
David was born in Ft. Lauderdale and learned to swim before he could walk. His parents had little David on the beach and playing in the ocean from the time he could crawl. This is where David begun his everlasting relationship with the endless sea.
David's dad was involved in real estate in the Bahamas when he was a little boy, which enabled him to begin his travels to the islands at an early age of six. By the time he was 13 , young David was surfing and sailing in the Bahamas.
David had his 1st Boston Whaler when he was 14 years old and spent most of his free days fishing, diving and surfing with his friends.
When David was 20 years old he started delivering yachts around the world and this lead him to obtain his my captains license by the time he was 26.
David has been involved with many environmental organizations since he was in junior high school and becuase he has such a deep love for the ocean and nature, he would regularly donate to surf rider foundation, world wildlife fund and the NRDC.
And even though David has spent time in many exotic places, he truly feels like the Bahamas is his second home. |
Carlos Rolle - FIRST MATE
Carlos Rolle, was born and grew up on Staniel Cay in the Exuma’s. He is 30 years old and a father of a beautiful baby girl. Carlos has been around the water since he was a child. He grew up diving and fishing throughout the Bahamas and graduated school in Nassau. The “Rolle” family has been in the Bahamas since the days of the “Loyalists.” Which dates back to the 1700’s.
He is a licensed mate and has worked on charter yachts for many years. He’s a very fun and articulate Bahamian with an intimate knowledge of the waters and history of the Bahamas. |
